I am trying to access the management page for this device but I can't figure out the password. I tried the 30 method but nothing. Does anyone know the default logins for cisco devices. I have already tried:
user/pass
admin/admin
admin/password
/password
/admin
The serial log is viewable on my terrible, terrible wiki.
Your wiki and Dark_Shadow's techinfodepot are the first places I visit before doing any deeper searches on the net. Keep up the good job! _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!

Hello,
Has anyone had any luck configuring this AP? I am able access the management interface and modify most settings at will. However, any attempt at setting a WEP/WPA/WPA2 password prevents clients from connecting.

Hey there,I was wondering were to find the password to log onto the wifi network to make the changes, or if you can tell me a simple way to access the management interface.
Hoping to play with the VEN401-AT soon. Last time I plugged a unit in, I was able to access the admin. WebGUI with the credentials outlined above.
I was able to make every network change you could think of. I could configure the unit as an open access point and connect with any 5Ghz client. However, configuring the unit with any wifi security (WEP/WPA/WPA2) prevented all of my clients from connecting.
Any thoughts? I hope we can figure how to use these units with WPA enabled.
My offer stands, if any regular forum member would like a unit please PM me.
how do i get to the configuration page to plug the default password in? i have it hooked up but when i try to connect it wants a passphrass or wpa key, and the wpa key on the bottom don't work. says incorrect password?? TIA, and thanks for having me here
i tried that and i tried 192.168.1.2 both with internet explorer and with fire fox. I even tried hitting the reset button and tried after that. it keeps telling me that it took to long to respond and timed out. any other ideas??
what if there is another access point in the system. we also have a linksys plugged in right now, and the wired part works, but the radio isn't working for some reason, works intermittently. so if that was plugged in first, and then i installed the ven401. how would that affect it? the whole reason i put the ven401 in there is because the linksys isn't broadcasting internet thru the wireless, so i tried the other too so i can get wireless for my phone.
can i only use this ven401 with a att uvers set top receiver? currently i am trying to just use it as a wireless router so to speak so i can receive a wireless signal for my android phone. right now we have internet thru wow!
