Ok...I have searched many threads and read many, but I cant figure this out. Basically all Im trying to do is setup a port forwarding cmd to an internal pc. The buffalo is setup with a static external IP 65.x.x.x. The Lan is set to 10.x.x.x. I am able to surf the web on the lan pc connected directly to the buffalo, but am not able to remote into the lan pc from and external pc. I have port forwarding setup as the following: port from: 3391 lan ip:10.x.x.x port to:3391. I have set the lan pc's remote port to 3391. Shouldn't it be that simple. Have have set this up on multiple firewalls before with no problems. I was using v23 sp2 and also tried the latest beta, but no luck. I would be greatful if anyone could help. If you know how to resolve this please try to explain it in newb terms, as Im not that familar with iptables, etc.

Thanks

It sounds like you're trying to set up remote desktop connection on a non-standard port. First, is the firewall on your computer either off, or configured to accept incoming requests on port 3391? If you just allow Remote Desktop Connection in the firewall, then it is only opening port 3389. It sounds like you have already configured RDC to listen on port 3391 instead of 3389, but that would be another thing to double check.

Also, is your internal network static or is it getting IPs based on DHCP?
