I assume this is some sort of firewall issue, but I've searched high and low and can't seem to find an answer.

I have self hosted web sites running on port 80 and 443 behind my Buffalo DD-WRT router. Outside of my router, the sites are accessible, but I can't seem to access the sites internally behind my router. If I enter the local IP of my web server in the browser it works fine. Letting the browser hit the web server via my public IP, it just times out.

Can anyone help here?

Thanks,
Sean

The router says I'm running build 17798 and this is the latest firmware that Buffalo has on their support site. It's the WZR-HP-AG300H that comes with factory provided DD-WRT.

I verified that it looks like a port forwarding issue as I just tried to SSH to my web server via its public DNS name (fromt inside my network) and got no response. Are there any other settings that I need to change to allow it to work (like filling in the Source Net field in the port forwarding rules)?

Thanks,
Sean
