No problem here, if you successfully install a prior build, you can then upgrade to a newer build from DDWRT that would normally have been blocked from the stock TP-Link Firmware
Maybe it is because I'm a newbie, but I can't find this version in Other Downloads
When I will find it, what is the best method to install and update in this case?
I have tried this .bin but the result is the same:
Error code: 18005
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.
Thank you to Spidex ant to this guide to solve my problems.
No problem! I am also extremely ecstatic that I've finally been able to get a Verizon 3G USB stick to work with DD-WRT and the very cheap and effective TP-Link MR3220 !!
I literally spent 2 weeks straight trying to do this last year and had given up. But now the world is a beautiful sunny place again
gialandra, what did you do to make it work? You have two consecutive posts, one with still having problem, than it's fixed in the next post but you did not tell how you've fixed it.

How did you solve it?
I emailed gia a bin file that works, and then from that bin file you can load any compatible version of DD-WRT you want
