Hello, I've recently flashed a Linksys WRT-54GS v5 with dd-wrt and am noticing slow wireless speeds. For example, just transferring a file with scp between two local machines will run at ~1.5Mb/s. Previously I was using one of my laptops as the access point and was obtaining scp speeds of ~10Mb/s. In addition I don't feel the wireless speeds are reaching their full potential. I did some searching in the forums relating to this issue but was unable to find much. The one thing I did find is that Linksys routers past version 3 or so are not very decent pieces of hardware. With that understood could someone point me to some information on how to get some more performance out of this thing?
Start by reading the forum announcements, but you can't get speed out of a Yaris.... _________________ SIG:
