I just ordered one of these routers from newegg with the express intention of flashing it so I could have a wireless bridge to my 360 and xbox out by my TV. Unfortunatly it looks like I got shipped to NEW a version. The Serial No on it is CGNB1 and is not listed under any of the supported hardware download files I could find.

Does anyone have any experience flashing the bios for this version? Does the bios even exist? Is there any planned releases for this version?

Any tips or suggestions would be most helpful.

Not supported and I don't think it will be. I suggest you return it and get a WRT54GL

yeah I just dug a little deeper into my problem and found these posts.

for those if you that have a v7 GS looks like its a no go. Thanks for the quick response, it looks like this unit is heading back to Newegg.
