Hello guys,
I just start the dd-wrt 23 sp2 for 2 days now, and I have to say it open the new world for my router with all the extra function.
My question is : does dd-wrt have a function to increase the range for the router or I have to get one of those antena to do this?
Thank you

you can increase the xmit power (under wireless / advanced settings)

you can go up to 100 easily without damaging your hardware
whatever you do dont go over 251

now - if you want omni directional (360 degrees coverage)
you can get a 7, 9, 12 dbi 'rubber duck' antenna

if you want a point to point (e.g. for a WDS connection or 1 client at a far distance)
then get a directional antenna

if you want to cover a 15 degree or 30 degree area - then use a "sector" antenna
