I have WRT54G - Version 6.
What is the benefit of DD-WRT, and why should I install it?
Secondly, I saw linklogger, and saw that it has nice features, but i can't use it unless upgrading to dd-wrt.
need advice/questions answered.
have a CCNA, so I don't mind the lingo.

The 54g v6 has reduced ram and flash memory than most models. It also uses Vxworks as the default firmware which is very restrictive
I refer you to this page . As you can see from version 5 and on, the ram and memory has been cut in half, severely limiting the unit

So what kind of features am I missing out on, being that i can only run this mini firmware on wrt54g, v6?
Besides the features that I presume I am missing out on, does the gui look better on the more robust firmware upgrades?
