I was unhappy with my Belkin router dropping wireless connections, so I flashed it to dd-wrt. After I did that, everything has slowed down significantly - both WLAN and wired connections. I used to get 1MB/s from my usenet server before, and now I'm lucky to have 200KB/s. Looking at the status page, the router seems dangerously low on memory/buffers. Any help would really be appreciated. Here's a snapshot of the status page

admin / management

ip filter max ports/connections
change to 1024, 2048, 4096
change both tcp / udp timeout to 600
save / reboot router

see if your slowdowns go away

Unfortunately, that didn't help. The speed is slow regardless of whether I'm using p2p apps or not. Any other ideas?

Thanks!
