I now have more than one webserver in my home network and would like to be able to access them. I have mapped my domain name to my home. I understand that what I need is a process (proxyserver?) to forward request such as:

http:\\mydomain.com\projectserver to my LAN IP: 192.168.2.83:80
http:\\mydomain.com\myth to my LAN IP: 192.168.2.20:80

I realize that this may be done by forwarding the ports to a proxyserver, however, I was wondering if this can be done inside the router and what cost \ penalty?

Thank you for your constructive insight.

Haven't installed it but Optware has a apache2 package, the proxy module will allow to do this. I'm doing this in my webserver forwarding a /mail/ folder to my mail server.

So it should work too on dd-wrt... not sure what the memeory usage will be though
