|
Alright, I'll admit I'm a bit confused.
When doing research on the wiki and elsewhere on dd-wrt.com, nothing mentioned needing to attach a serial cable to my router's circuit board. Whereas, this forum doesn't seem to have any other options for the initial flash for my hardware.
Is there a list of what Senao/Ralink hardware requires a serial cable and what doesn't? Is there any chance that that will change in the near future, or this a limitation of the hardware?
(For the record, I have a EnGenius-imprinted ESR-9752.)
(Also, what builds are currently recommended for the initial install? The Peacock thread recommends a pre SP1 build, which is around 4 1/2 years old at this point.) |
