Although i have always found QoS in DD-WRT (for my D-Link Dir 615 (rev. E3)) to not work almost at all (and clearly is a neglected feature by the ddwrt developers) but i found that the latest release (21061) just makes the feature completely dead. When QoS is enabled it does nothing. It's like it bypasses it. My guess is the developers didnt want to deal with fixing the many bugs from the previous release and just took the lazy route of putting a "return" statement. Why not just cut out the entire QoS category than pretend it is a feature?
So i wonder, do any of you guys have a workaround to throttle down downloads speeds on my Dir-615? Are there any options in build 21061 that i can set to lower the rates for wifi users? They tend to use uTorrent and noticed that dd-wrt doesnt have a feature to lower -- just block. Interestingly enough that feature ALSO doesnt work in this release. I'd love to see a list of features that do work in dd-wrt for this router since it is a much shorter list than features that dont work. Seriously!
