First off, sorry for the first post as a new user. I log in so rarely I long lost my old name...

I would like to know if this configuration should work and get opinions before I commit to buying the software and NIC:

I would like to use an Optiplex 755 with an added dual port PCI-Ex4 Intel NIC as an Internet firewall and VLAN router. I want to use the dual port NIC with a 2gb LACP group and VLAN routing connected to Dell Smart Switches. The integrated NIC would connect to the Internet.

The dual port group acts as a VLAN router in and out the same interface. The onboard NIC is a firewalled Internet connection.

Of course this would be with the professional version of DD-WRT. Does this sound feasible or should I consider something like Ubiquiti's router?

Thanks in advance and I apologize for the confusing wording!
