Noobie here. I just updated my WRT54G2 Router to DD-WRT and need some advice. I have Comcast as my Internet Service provider. They just updated me to a combination modem Router. It is a Technicolor TC8305C. It does not get great reviews. Iwould like advice as to the the best configuration for my use. I have a long house. My prior configuration I had used a Wrt54G as my main router and set it up with a WAP54G as a repeater to enable the wireless in the other end of the house. I have been trying to find a way to use the Techniclor router with My WRT54G2 as a repeater. Im not sure this can be done. If not I will have Comcast disable the wireless and use my same seup as before. Advice from the proffesionals would be appreciated. At this point I am running Firmware DDWRTV24-SP2 10/30/08 . Im sure I need to update this firmware as I see it doesnt mention the use of dvices using N only B,G. Sorry about the long post and again Thanks in advance for any help.
