Hi,

I cannot access the Google Play Store and several secure sites on ANY android device (S3 i9305 & S4 i9505) via Wifi on my router.

Sites/store are accessible via my simcard.

An example is Hotmail. I can access it via my iPhone, and laptops. But ALL Android devices cannot access Hotmail (can get to 'login' page, but after enter details page will not load).

I'm using a Dlink-DIR-632A (running DD-WRT v24-sp2).

Please assist me- what could be the cause?

What type of connection do you have?
PPPoE (DSL), Cable, Fiber?
It could be due to MTU problem. Try lowering it to 1440...
Or this could be due to ISP DNS problem. Try to use public dns like 8.8.8.8, 4.2.2.1 or 208.67.222.222
Or something else...

I'm using ADSL (PPPoE).

I have a modem/wifi router downstairs which works fine (ie android devices work when connect) but it's the AP upstairs (DD-WRT DHCP setup server Dlink 632) where it wont connect allow android devices to connect to such sites/services.

Does this rule out the DNS problem?

MTU change isn't sticking on the modem:

Same issue here, Google Play on my Nexus 7 will not connect. Running the latest DD-WRT beta on WDR-4300.

So I fixed it-MTU was the culprit!

I went to Setup-networking-bridging and changed the MTU to 1500.

So surprised this isn't a more common issue.

MTU generally defaults to 1500 anyway, which is why it's likely not a problem for the majority

My MTU is automatically set to 1500:

Any other ideas on what it may be?

Any thoughts?

I have gone through every setting imaginable, the settings after the firmware was flashed were not changed outside of the basic wireless settings.
