Hi,
I managed to flash my Fonera FON 2202 with DD-WRT v24 beta.
I can connect through Wi-Fi and manage the router but only through Wi-Fi.
Connecting with either of the 2 ethernet slots doesn't work, it doesn't give me any IP address and I cannot communicate with the router.
Using the access point, I renamed it, added a WPA password, changed it to 192.168.10.1 and enabled WAN in auto DHCP.
It still doesn't work, WPA IP shows 0.0.0.0 at the top and nothing in the "status"...
I can still correctly connect to the Wi-Fi AP though and play with the settings but did not manage to find correct ones.
I tried many different settings combinations but none worked: disable STP, disable DNSmasq, remove ath0 from the bridge, add eth0 to the bridge, change to Gateway/Router, enable/disable dynamic forwarding, etc...
With the original Fonera firmware I could correctly get internet from the "INTERNET" port and it was sharing it to the other "COMPUTER" ethernet port and to the wifi clients.
Basically my Fonera has 2 ethernet ports, one labelled INTERNET which I connect to the source of internet (apartment network 10.x.y.z) and my computer to the ethernet port labelled COMPUTER.
It used to work fine before dd-wrt...
How can I get back a normal network with DD-WRT?
Can you please tell me which exact settings I need to set?
Thanks for the advice.
I tried many times to perform a factory reset but without success.
I follow the instructions for my model (FON2202) but it always resets to dd-wrt, not the original FON firmware.
Maybe my device is broken...
