Linksys WRT54G v6 firmware problem instillation

Hi folks, I just did a hard reset to my router linksys WRT54G v6 and that works, but when I upload the firmware which I toked from here http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=58231 it's says FAIL. Can you hit me with any tips why I can't install it? Thanks all

Hi bud, this is what I followed but I stop at step one because cant install the firmware. ;(

this guide worked for me until step 21. the router boots up and i can see the wifi signal (ddwrt ) in the pc but not in my phone. not sure why.
either way i cannot connect to wifi and i cannot access anything though Ethernet cable.
any ideas or tips will be appreciated.

Did you try a 30/30/30 reset at this point?

yes several times. i even had a timer for that. haha.

the weird part is that the wifi shows up in pc only. my phone doesnt see it which i find very weird.
the connection on the pc lights up depending on the port i connect the cable to. which tells me something is working but it doesnt obtain an ip or can see the gui page.

i would like to know if its possible to go back to management page or go back to stock firmware.
please let me know

i forgot to mention that i cannot connect to wifi even though i can see it using the laptop. it doesnt even attempt to connect it just rejects it.
as for my cellphone it doesnt even see the signal. ( neus 5 )
any ideas?
