Cannot change 5Ghz channel on Asus RT-AC66U

Router: Asus RT-AC66U
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) giga





So, as you can see above what my dd-wrt webgui is stating does not match up with reality. I can change the settings for the 2.4GHz band, but any changes I make to the 5GHz are not implemented and it stays stuck in the 36 channel.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?



I also tried changing the channel in the console via telnet to no avail.

I can set the channel on 5Ghz using Kong Build 24200

Thanks for the tip on the Kong build. Unfortunately it still is not working Sad

Do you have any other ideas? Any console commands even?

It is definitely working, as I have one too:-)

Do a reset to defaults, then follow this guide:
