So, I've read the router DB page for my router, which is an MI424-WR Rev D. That page says the router is fully supported by DD-WRT.
I've also read the wiki page for that router. That says the co-ax port will be broken if I flash with DD-WRT.
Those two statements seem mutually contradictory. How can the router be fully supported if the co-ax port dies? And since my ISP only ever hooks these routers up to the ONT via co-ax, how can I use DD-WRT at all without co-ax?
