I have this load running. I am using it just for an AP. What load is the best to use just for 2.4ghz wifi? I am not getting good throughput no matter what channel. I get 21Mbps down hard wired through the AP but only 10-12Mbps wifi 2.4ghz
Use a trailed build. Read the peacock announcement notes 1,3 and 4 in particular. _________________ SIG:
I'm trying to teach you to fish, not give you a fish. If you just want a fish, wait for a fisherman who hands them out. I'm more of a fishing instructor.

Okay so I am using 18777 and note 4 says: (If you are using a 16758 or higher build, which is newer than is recommended, you must use a nv60k build rather than the e2k-e3k build - See the wiki for your router and this post: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=148350)
I know you are all trying to teach me to fish, but I am trying to not brick a router. So even a kind person would help a person that was fishing and might lose a fish over board by grabbing and helping them reel. No?
By now you could have flashed back to linksys firmware and started over.
There is a disconcerting arrogance that has sprouted up in the community over the years that treats people who ask questions with disdain. Karma will not be good to those with such an attitude but will be good to those with a joyful, helpful attitude. Even if you think it and don't write it, your mind will project your arrogant attitude throughout your life.
I don't believe in karma. My answer was to help you. If it was me. Instead of waiting 3 days for someone to answer me, I would have taken 5 minutes to flash the linksys firmware back on it, followed by 5 minutes to flash the dd-wrt firmware you wanted.
In 10 minutes, I would be done. After 3 days you are still trying to figure out how to get to build 15962.
Flash linksys fw. Then flash trailed build 15962. See my point? _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.
