Hello everyone,
I am looking for an unbrick service for a Linksys E3000 v1 Router. I used to have it with with

dd-wrt.v24-15943_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-e2k-e3k.bin

but then when I tried upgrading it to either build svn16403 or svn16758 (don't remember which exactly now) I messed up because I flashed a firmware that did not have the e3000 or e2k_e3k in the name... (yes I know its my fault I'm stupid for not noticing it before I flashed it, I guess it was too late at night when I did it, been using dd-wrt for years and now I mess up) Anyway, I am unable to connect to it via a network cable since I get a network cable unpluggged message. Was about to try a jtag, but decided it might better be left to someone with experience. If you live in the continental US and can do it for a reasonable fee please PM me.
Thanks in advance!

This might help: http://www.mi-computersupport.de/index.php/tutorial.

I used this method and debricked WRT320N which I put a wrong firmware.

I'm posting here probably out of ignorance

Does dd-wrt make a router that splits ethernet and Voip?

I'm told by my provider to suspect that my Linksys roter is defective or substandard - it's the third one I've purchased that my be suspect.

Thanks Roy but unfortunately the E3000's board looks very different from the WRT320N so unfortunately I do not have the knowledge to figure it out from there. In any case like I mentioned in my previous post, a forum member has already agreed to help me and I'm in contact with him.

Thanks again for your support!

If the person who PM'd Enlightened would also PM me that would be great.

I got a bad flash and I have (4) Bricked E3000's on my hands.

The power light blinks but I have no network connectivity at all so I can't TFTP or even ping the unit.

I was thinking about shorting pins as found in http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=63371&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 but this is a last resort.

Any help would be apperciated.

I would also be interested in knowing the solution. I have the same issue as the previous posters.

what issue might that be and what caused it? Also, both the E3000 and the 320 are mentioned.. which router do you have.

Hi Guys,

I've just bricked my Linksys wrt610n v2.
After upgrading to e3000, I tryed to flash to e3k mega build... but now, it is dead.
Short pin (8-9) doesn't work at all.
Only the power led blinks and it has no network.

I believe it needs a jtag or serial connection to go back to life, but I haven't the tools, time or skills for doing that.

Is there someone who can do that for me (paying of course)? I didn't find any service on the internet.

Thanks
