I have a TP-Link WDR3600 installed with V24 SP2 and I am trying to set up two wireless networks of different sizes, for a cafe with a back office.

The office wlan is at 192.168.1.*/255.255.255.0 and has relatively few dhcp clients

and a public wlan on 192.168.5.*/255.255.0.0 which has a lot of dhcp clients

I set up the office on ath0 and ath1 on br0 and the public wlan on ath0.1 and ath1.1, on br1

I set up a second dhcp server on br1

My problem is that the public wlan runs out of addresses and has to be hard reset. I have shortened the lease times but would rather get it working the way it should with the full range of addresses available.

Have you also increased the "Max Associated Clients" from default value of 256? Its under Advanced Settings in Wireless Settings.

How many wireless devices do you need to serve at a time anyway?
