Confused about flashing a router and what i need to download

I have an Asus RT N10 and it is supported, however the files that are associated with it are confusing to me .

I downloaded the flash based startup file but don't have a clue what else i would need to complete the conversion.

Any help would be very much appreciated

There are more than one versions of the rt-n10. Look here to figure out what you have. None of them hat I know have an atheros chip, so this is posted in the wrong forum.

Don't try to flash anything to the router till you can figure out what you have.

Thank you gentlemen , i am indeed in the wrong forum , my apologies .

I do have a standard RT N 10 , no + version etc.., i will post in appropriate forum .
