|
hello, I've got a 2100 Fonera with dd-wrt v24 preSP2 (build 21061), the latest version downloadable from ddwrt website.
this is the situation:
my town has an open and free wifi network, but the nearest hotspot is far from my house and with my iphone I get a decent signal only in one room, so I decided to use a fonera to repeat the signal in the rest of my house.
with my iphone I get this:
ip: 192.168.3.x
mask: 255.255.255.0
router: 192.168.3.1
dns: 192.168.0.1, 192.168.3.1
ssid: TP-LINK
security: none
so I've configured my fonera:
basic setup:
connection type: automatic dhcp
ip: 192.168.4.1
mask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.3.1
dns: 192.168.3.1
wan: not checked
wireless:
client mode
ssid TP-LINK
security: none
virtual interface:
AP
ssid: TPLINK (without the "-" )
password WPA
security:
firewall: disabled
status/wireless/site survey: TP-LINK: join.
so...after joining the network I can't see TP-LINK router in status/wireless as connected, and my fonera doesn't broadcast any ssid...
what's wrong? |
