Hello,

I'm using 24710M dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD on my WZR-1750. It's working
fine, and I'd like to know two things:

1. can someone point me to the kernel config for this build ?

I've figured out where the source tree is for the kernel, and also
what specific subversion revision it was built from (r24710), but
I'm unsure what config file to use (there are lots of them in the
3.10 source tree).

Trying to get it from my running instance is also a no-go, as there
is no /proc/config.gz.

2. is there any easy way to have a look into the .bin file itself,
somewhat like what firmware-mod-kit tries to do ?

I've run firmware-mod-kit against the Kong image mentionned above,
and also against recent Eko builds, but it always comes back empty,
as does binwalk(1):

# binwalk dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD.bin
DECIMAL HEX DESCRIPTION
------------------------------------------------------------------

#

Thanks a lot for your answers,

The binwalk/firmware-mod-kit was on my end: recent libmagic releases break binwalk 1.0 (see for instance https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1111576).

Substituting a recent git clone of the binwalk source tree into firmware-mod-kit/src/binwalk-1.0 did the trick.

So, I guess that only leaves the question about the kernel config ;)

Cheers,

Bef
