I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, since the RT-AC87 uses Quantenna's chipset but I was curious about DD-WRT support. I'm currently running two RT-AC66U's as a bridge using Kong's latest K3-AC firmware. I'm hoping to replace that setup with RT-AC87's to take advantage of MU-MIMO.
I've got the routers now and I'm willing to test builds if available
probably by the time this is out\stable, 2 new "high end routers" will be out. (and current router will be 20-30+ % cheaper = currently you are a BETA tester)
i am not sure why people spend so much money on new stuff, where, hardly they can even get half of performance they are advertising with current software available. (even stock).
Netgear, Asus, etc. same story, different package.
Btw Brainslayer has a unit. He has already shown a screenshot of it running his build.
Oh nice, yeah it looks like a nice unit. Saw it the other day and was gonna pick one up but I figured I'd wait to see how development was coming along. My R7000 is working just fine but I'm always down for something new and better
