My router is a Buffalo WZR-HP-AG300H running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/23/14). I have been up and running for 2 weeks now without issue. Today, my entire 2.4 Ghz signal lost internet access. It still had local and router access. The LAN and 5 Ghz signal was still fully operational. My settings are below:

ath0
Wireless Mode = AP
Wireless Network Mode = NG-Mixed
Channel Width = Full 20Mhz
Wireless Channel = Auto

I have never went into the Advanced Settings. Does anyone know the optimal WiFi settings for this router / DD-WRT version? If you need any further information, please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Alright. Will do. Is a 30/30/30 reset necessary or can I just flash over what I have? Also, would you be able to provide a direct link to the exact firmware you mention? Thank you for your suggestion.

Alright. I will download and install it tonight. Is there a test I should run to prove stability on the 2.4 GHz signal in relation to the issue I have above? Thank you.

can try iperf & stuff like that that pushes lots of data other than that youll have to use it regularly & wait. if it does it again enter "dmesg" in the commands window & run it
