Hi all,

My first post for my first issue.

My installation is a WRT54GS connected to an AP (lets call it "freebox") and acts as a repeater. Everything works pretty fine.

The freebox ip is 192.168.0.254, the wrt one is 192.168.69.1.

When directly connected to the freebox, I can access to IPTV via VLC. Here is an example of the kind of urls :
rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=204&flavour=hd
But when connected on my wrt router, it just doesn't work.

I tried to change mafreebox.freebox.fr to 192.168.0.254, and it didn't change anything (but also worked when directly connected).

Notice that I can ping the freebox without problem.

Thanks for your help, and sorry for my english.

You must determine if Multicast is used.

There is Multicast Options and IGMP Snooping on the Setup->Networking tab.

Hi, and thanks for your answer.

I didn't change anything about multicast. By default everything is on 'Default' position.
Actually I don't understand very much about the configuration I should have to allow multicast...

Well, I have some new questions.

RTSP is a protocol that uses 554 port by default. And, in my case it uses the 554 also.

I configured my VLC to connect to 554 for rtsp, and activated port forwarding to my ip on dd-wrt for 554 but it still doesn't work.

About multicast, as I said it's on 'default' mode and I really don't know what to do with it.

Cheers for your answers.
