hello folks.

i have a "Netgear WNDR4000" with "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) mega - build 21061" on it. does anyone know why the dhcp-server doesn't respond if i add more than 2 static leases to it?

quick info, to hidden private wireless networks and all have been set up to connect with static ip. to br0
br0 incl. to hidden wireless private + wired
br1 is for the first guest nework 2,4 ghz (wireless only)
br2 is for the second guest network 5.0 ghz (wireless only)

firewall script created with http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Iptables#Deny_access_to_a_specific_IP_address_range_with_Logging and some other sites.

so my question is why does the dhcp-server doesn't give an ip-adress when more then 2 static leases are added. i only get an 169.254.*.* adress witch doesn't allow nada. i even tryed out some "DNSMasq" optoins but with the same result.

thanks for any help.

You need 3 dhcp servers, one for each bridge (sub-net).
Add additional dhcp servers at the Setup->Networking tab

i have a dhcp server on each bridge.Setup ==> Networking ==> DHCPD (multile DHCP servers)

like br0 uses ip-range xxx.xxx.1.xxx
br1 uses ip-range xxx.xxx.2.xxx
br2 uses ip-range xxx.xxx.3.xxx

i had the same issue on every new image i updated my wndr4000 with. and not only on mine but on other ones too.

i been chasing for answers and solutions for a long time now, but nothing i tried fixed it.

maybe if i set up a dhcp server for each static connection + 2 dhcp servers for br1 and br2. i will try it, just to see is it works or not.

i appreciate any help.
