hell I have a BELKIN F5D6231-4 v2 and i don’t really care for this router because it has only wep security and I would like to upgrade it to ddwrt manually or by some way I'm just gonna use it as a wireless bridge I don’t even care if it works half way as long as I can connect to my other router wirelessly I don’t really care about anything else or at lease if I could use it to create a wireless access point and it doesn’t have to be ddwrt it can be any third party firmware of custom firmware than yall. it would be nice if I could get the installation and the files I need to do this and im not worried about bricking it
I think you can forget about dd-wrt or any other third party firmware since the router has a CPU ADM8628 from ADMtek which I believe is not supported by dd-wrt or other third party firmware such as openwrt or Tomato.
