I wonder if there's a way of rebooting the cable modem from the router menu. Everytime I use for instance, the clone address option I have to reboot the cable modem so it can get the new IP from the HDCP server. It would be very nice to be able to control the cble modem from the router... Razz

But that would be hardware dependent, so a whole list of different codes would need to be built in DD-WRT Confused
It might just be possible for modems that can receive commands (if any actually, but I'm not educated on the matter enough to comment), but I'd say it's not practically feasible in general.
Mind you, I'd like to see that too, that could be neat, especially for people who don't have their modem close to the PC.

Assuming your cable is anything like mine, the cable modem gets an address from the ISP and DD-WRT is set to DHCP for the WAN, you -should- be able to go to 192.168.100.1 to see the modem status page and reboot it from there. If it's a motorola, the user name is admin, the password is motorola. I know, they're super creative. XD
