Hello All,

As the subject states, I recently purchased a Netgear Router, WNDR3400, v.1.

According to the seller, he/she installed a fresh copy of DD-WRT, although I don't know what version they installed. And here is my problem. After setting it up and goin to 198.162.1.1 I go to a DD-WRT Control Panel page. But it doesn't look anything like I've seen on this web-site.

I have a black and white page and here is a pic of what it looks like:

Can someone help this noob and let me know what I need to do to get the DD-WRT Control Panel working?

Thanks in advance for your help

It could be that "fresh" build that they loaded. There have been a rash of nightly builds with GUI issues lately. I loaded one the other day that had NO webgui at all....had to use Asus recovery utility to recover it to another version after it was fixed.

I suggest you try to use serial terminal to clear the nvram and kernel partitions...then tftp a known good version onto the router.

I believe telnet is enabled by default. Use the bottom of this guide to revert back to stock, then use the same guide to put dd-wrt back on.
