Power cycle is just pull the power connector out...then plug it back in...nothing more.
Here is what I would do...flash it again (resetting to defaults from the GUI)...and just wait 8-10 min after the success message...now power cycle and then configure.

BTW...I had a brief chat with BS the other day...if you have a 300HP2 that came preloaded with Buffalo/dd-wrt version...you need to run the webflash file for the first flashing of this unit...then you can run the firmware-xx.bin after that initial flash.
But...this is only for the dd-wrt branded buffalo OEM firmware.

Hi redhawk,
I think I did it the wrong way: I flashed mine with the firmware-us.bin first and now I don't have any internet connection. Is it possible to flash again using the webflash first & then the -us.bin? Thanks!
Just picked this up in a sale. I noticed there's no FQ_Codel under QOS despite being a 3.X kernel (my Braodcom device has it). Do I have to probe it with insmod or is it not in the current "beta" builds? I'm on 24461 considering it's good stability on my other device.
I've just installed r24461 onto my 300HP2 and all is working well bar one problem.
I can't seem to get good wireless N performance.
The fastest connection I can get is 72.2 MBits
My wireless settings are
NG-Mixed
Wireless Channel 6
Channel Width 20mhz
If I switch to 40 mhz my computer can no longer connect but my phone can (but at a reduced speed of 65mbps)
Previously I had a whr-g300nv2 and my computer connected fine at 150mb with a 40mhz channel width.
Am I missing something here?
Any way to improve wireless performance?
