I have a small problem where I cannot figure out a solution.
Basically; I have 4 devices with the same static ip which I cannot change, but I want to access them (or at least 1 tcp port) at the same time.
- we have a corporate network which has, let say ip range (external) 10.13.60.0/24 (DHCP, but I am allowed to configure multiple static ip's).
- the devices have all the same ip (internal), let say 10.4.1.101 (netmask 255.255.255.0, gateway 10.4.1.1).
So I came up with the following.
1. purchased a router with multiple interfaces and/or switch supporting VLAN's: TP-Link TP-WR1043ND V2
2. configured each port on a unique VLAN
3. configured each vlan interface a unique mac address.
so far so good, but I cannot figure out how to 'route' this. I was heading into the direction of proxy-arp;
a. configure external ip forward to the desired mac/interface in both ways
b. configure an internal ip (in range) forward to the desired mac/interface in both ways, and port forward external to internal.
but so far no good...
Is this possible at all? Or do I have to look into macvlan/mangle??? |
