I posted this some time ago, but it might have been in wrong area.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=268462

I recently installed DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/15/14) kongac
(SVN revision 24865M) for my Asus RT-AC68U and then bootstrapped it and ran opkg update.

What I though noticed that the repository is missing many packages what I would like to have or need.

I have built some of them on other systems and would be interested in on doing the same for this ARM platform.

Would someone give me pointers for docs, probably first for cross compiling env but I would like to have gcc + other tools for this device also.

And then once there would be ready build working ipk packages, how could I contribute for the common repository.

Would like to have pointers for instructions on that also or where to go discuss on that area more.
