Hello !

I am trying to get a Huawei E3372 to work on my Netgear R7000, unfortunately I am stuck as to how to even begin to figure out what it's doing.

The Netgear R7000 is running DD-WRT v24-sp2 kongac revision 25015M STD.
The Huawei E3372 is flashed with the latest non-HiLink firmware, so it should be acting like a modem, not like a HiLink ethernet adapter (at least it does so on Windows, even when unplugging it and plugging it back in).

The relevant snippet from cat /proc/bus/usb/devices gives :

Code:
T:  Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#=  3 Spd=480  MxCh= 0
D:  Ver= 2.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=ff MxPS=64 #Cfgs=  1
P:  Vendor=12d1 ProdID=1c05 Rev= 1.02
S:  Manufacturer=HUAWEI_MOBILE
S:  Product=HUAWEI_MOBILE
S:  SerialNumber=0123456789ABCDEF
C:* #Ifs= 3 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr=  2mA
I:* If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=option
E:  Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
E:  Ad=01(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
I:* If#= 1 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=option
E:  Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
E:  Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
I:* If#= 2 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=option
E:  Ad=83(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
E:  Ad=03(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms

When plugging in the modem, this is what dmesg delivers:

Code:
usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-pci
option 1-1:1.0: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected
usb 1-1: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB0
option 1-1:1.1: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected
usb 1-1: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB1
option 1-1:1.2: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected
usb 1-1: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB2

I am stumped as to how to further proceed, seeing as the modem is not supported out of the box. Setting the WAN to Mobile Broadband with the correct settings (or any, for that matter, as I've been trying around) doesn't seem to have any effect.
