Hello,
I’m new at this and I would appreciate some advice. At my place at work I would like to setup a public Wi-Fi for clients, I have a NETGEAR WNDR300 already flashed with dd-wrt successfully.
What are the steps I should follow to configure and be safe from our company network?
Thank you for the reply Ciscolink, I followed the instructions to the letter on the video and the networks are separated and they connect with password. The only problem is it shows there in no internet access, I have the build 12548M.

Did you setup a DHCP server for the other network? Have you enabled NATing or Masquarading on the other network (which allows internet access)?
I am able to see these setting on the Setup>Networking tab(s); however, I never used these settings on build 12548, so I don't know if or where these settings would be on that particular build.

Thank you for the advice, I tried again following the instructions and the problem is that the private network is providing an IP address but the public is not obtaining an IP address. The DHCP is disabled in the router, but I’m stumped that the private network is obtaining an IP address and connecting to the Internet. Any thoughts?

So what is acting as a DHCP server on your network? If DHCP is disabled on this router that has the public wifi, where is the private network getting it's IPs?
I'm thinking you may need to enable DHCP on the private network in order for the public network to get IPs as the service for the public network relies on the service running for the private network. _________________ R7000 Nighthawk - DD-WRT v3.0-r50308

Thanks for the response, maybe you are not familiar with my setup, the router that I want for a guest Wi-Fi is connected to an ADSL router that provides Internet.
The ADSL router is providing the IP since the DHCP is enabled, the second router the DHCP is disabled. All I want is the second router is to provide a public Wi-Fi without interfering with the already setup and working Private LAN/WAN. I would welcome any advice if there is better way to accomplish my goal.
