r25408 has the same effect as r25309.
DIR-615 rev. H1 seams to upgrade just for few seconds, than reboots. Nothing changes, always the same FW, on mine r25279, last ok-running version. Good news: it doesn't brick.
Saw this before when I tried to flash a fw which was to big for the flash.
Which flavour (micro, mini, vpn, etc.) of r25408 do you want to flash? _________________ Linksys WRT54GL v.1.1

Hallo MadWire,
that's what I felt as well, that the size of the FW-file might be an issue.
But when I compare the following FWs I found out that there are many FWs that don't work although they are smaller than the ones that work on my DIR-615rev.H:
FW kB
23503 3677 works
23598 3593 doesn't
23720 3565 "
23838 3597 "
23919 3585 "
24118 3617 "
24160 3621 "
24461 3621 "
25179 3713 "
25203 3717 "
25251 3713 works
25173 3717 doesn't
25279 3713 works
25309 3717 doesn't
25408 3733 "
hey,
1. D-Link DIR-600 flashing of r25408 successful.
2. Factory reset, router comes up with pwd-change-dialog.
3. Changes and reboot doesn't reliably bring up system again.
4. ping and telnet impossible, although dhcp might still work.
5. reset button brings up system again at point 2
6. SES button still doesn't bring up/down wifi/wlan (gpio poll 0 ; 01 unpressed ; 00 pressed)
r25408 factory reset sets 00:11:22:33:44:57 BridgeMAC which gets bound to LAN and WLAN at the same time. Changing the password is possible after the reset, but disabling wlan makes the system hang. So a reset is required again. Then I stored LAN HWMac in Bridge MAC to prevent hang. Then disabling WLAn was no problem anymore.
@KrypteX,
see my posts above:
DIR-615 rev. H
Trying to upgrade the system says after a few seconds "upgrade successful" and it seems to reboot.
Checking for the actual status of the FW you find the same as before.
