I'm doing some tests with iperf and on stock firmware I get 150-180Mbps between two network computers. On DD-WRT I get about 60-70Mbps. I can't figure out if I'm not setting something up properly or if this is epected

Are you using an build with HW-Nat and have it enabled ?

http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=264740

It 's currently removed in newer Builds due to a bug with UDP as you can see in that thread so you might want to wait for it to get properly re-implemented and then check again.

the ddtb is only used for traffic between the WAN-LAN.
LAN-LAN uses the switch portion of the router only.

I would believe that speed drops like that even WAN-LAN are more likely a condition of your devices & not the router firmware.

Honestly we can tell much of anything from what little information you posted.
No router model.
No specific firmware builds.
No design idea about the clients such as 1 on the WAN side & 1 on a LAN port.

Well, the router model is in the title of the thread, but the rest of the information that you mentioned would be very helpful *smile*.
