Same procedure as before.
DIR-615 H1.
It seems to upgrade, but it doesn't. After reboot the old FW is still there.

Please report this in the tickets section here
http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/3707
Most firmwares since 25203 brick this router, why are they still released, I have no idea...
Router Model: Senao ESR-9752SC
Status: Upgrade not working
Reset: No
Errors: The web upgrade procedure (from build 23838 to 25628) says "Upgrade successfull" after about 15 seconds, reboots the router but then the firmware version is still 23838.
The build 25628 wont get installed by the web interface upgrade.
I know I'm taking the chance by not resetting, but it has always worked before. This time the upgrade is not working properly.
Tried three times and re-downloaded the file to make sure the file was OK.
BS, please have a look as I see I'm not the only to which this is happening. Any suggestion or information that can help you hunting the bug I'll be happy to help.
@ervau
I've been actively posting in the tickets section regarding the bricking of DIR-615 D2, for a couple of months now... but no fix is available. I'll just stay on 25179, it's stable. Anything after that is a big mess.
Also, I've been testing newer builds on my WNDR3800, and most builds after 23919 are a PITA. So that's it... I'm seriously considering switching to OpenWRT for good.
@KrypteX
In a previous post someone asks for a changelog.
Maybe that could be very helpful. Sometimes it doesn't make any sense to upgrade 'cause the old version works fine and the new version adds features you never need. But nobody knows what the new one fixes (if it does?!).
