Still i have another doubt...

i din't know if my router is in fact a RT-N10 (BC) or an RT-N10+(B1) (RL)...

He is running on firmware 2.0.2.8 (i updated it), because the label under it indicated H/W ver. B1, firm 2.0.1.6.
But on the front (near the ower / lan lights) it says RT-N10 ... also if i insert the serial on the asus site, it redirects the browser to the RT-N10 support page!!

Can anyone please clarify me which dd-wrt firm should i flash?

thx a lot.

hi, i have success upgrade rt-N10 to ddwrt firmware, in wireless setup is on, ssid broadcasted, anything seem normal in ddwrt setting, but i can't find it when i search it with my device, i can access lan port, but wireless is discoverable.
anyone have this problem?, any solution?

if there isn't any, can i reflash rt-n10 with original firmware directly from ddwrt update firmware?

thanks for any advises ...

never mind i have re flash it with original firmware. Neutral

i resetted to factory defaults, then hold reset button and connected power conector while holding reset button for more than 30s. Blinks wps led, ethernet and power button dont blinkg, light all the time.
I changed ip of my pc to 192.168.1.5

I tryed to upload firmware using tftp in linux(at first factory to ddwrt), but without success:
Code:
[r-c@rc-laptop ~]$ cd /home/r-c/t/
[r-c@rc-laptop t]$ tftp
(to) 192.168.1.1
tftp> mode
Using netascii mode to transfer files.
tftp> mode binary
tftp> mode
Using octet mode to transfer files.
tftp> put factory-to-ddwrt.trx
Transfer timed out.

tftp>

I also tryed to upgrade router using asus upgrade menu in router, also using asus restoration tool, but without success(tryed both firmwares - factory to ddwrt and also rtn10plus-ddwrt-webflash.bin...

What I do wrong?

I have done it. I have got maximum speed while downloading 28mbit/s.
I have transmit power setted on 71mW, what is maximum allowed for this router?

My experience with using the Asus RT-N10+ B1 as a repeater with dd-WRT:

First, only client mode will work - not repeater. I.e., it will connect to another AP, but not simultaneously act as its own AP. So I have to plug in a second router to complete the repeater.

Second, it will not work in bridge mode. So I have to create a separate network - no biggie.

Builds in which this works:
20548, 21061. Also reportedly, 17990 and 16454 - though I haven't tested these

Settings:
Follow instructions for creating a client bridge: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Bridged

Make the following changes:
Setup>Basic:
WAN Connection Type - I use static, but automatic will also work
Router IP - enter a network unique from the host (e.g., 192.168.2.1)
DHCP - active

Setup>Advanced Routing:
Operating Mode - leave as Gateway

Wireless>Basic Setting:
Wireless Mode - Client
Network Configuration - Unbridged
IP - client router IP
