I'm trying to setup a USB attached NAS drive on my Buffalo router. Enabled USB and select Samba setup. However the router does not recognize the drive, drive info is empty. I suspect my DD-WRT firmware does not support drive over 2TB? I tried formatting my drive on PC using both NTFS and ExFat. Still nothing. However, my 32GB flash formatted with NTFS works and when formatted with exFAT does not. Firmware is: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/23/14) std. NAS drive is a Seagate Expansion™ Desktop Drive 3TB USB 3.0 formatted with NTFS, but also tried exFAT. Maybe I need to install a different DD-WRT firmware?
