I'm using OpenDNS as a content filter, but now I'm trying to block only certain computers in my Network. What some people suggested me was that I needed to assign specific DNS server addresses to specific devices on my network, how can I accomplish this. I don't want to block all the computers
All Right, I have rebooted every single electronic device in my network, that includes both clients and router, and still nothing. And I've got enable "Use DNSMasq for DHCP"
The only good thing that I have realized is that the mac adresses are correct, or at least the router really assign a specific ip adresss to a specific mac adress with the code that you gave me, but it doesen't seem to change the dns server. I've got a webpage blocked and I continue be able to surf in it. Maybe I misundestood the code, but in the images that I have sent you can see that is the same code
No, i don't.. I not sure if windows interprete correct my dns servers, when I put the OpenDNS servers for all the computers in my network, it blocks the webpages correctly, but Window's cmd say that im not connected to the OpenDNS Servers
No, I haven't changed that. But if it were something related with Windows, then it should be working on Linux, isn't it? I have Ubuntu and I have the same problem. And besides it's strange because Windows wouldn't be blocking with that DNS server adress but it does (I mean when I Block the whole network)
