how did you run the command, from the gui based command tab or did you telnet to the router & run it?
On my R7000 & running Kong 26285M I run the command from the command line & I can see all 5ghz clients disappear from the list. When I run the switch version to enable, I see the 5ghz client come back.
You will NOT see a status change in the gui saying the radio down.
wl -i eth2 down
wl -i eth2 up
You mentioned your on a different router but you did not mention what firmware you are running. It might make a difference. _________________ Router currently owned:
