I have an Asus RT-N18U, with the beta build "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/11/14) std - build 25309M".
I noticed that the router would spontaneously reboot a number of times each day (5-10 times per day), this has been happening with a number of builds by now (stable and a few betas).
After a few months of observation I think I know what causes the reboots, the router will always reboot when an Android device tries to connect to the WiFi and it has bad signal. I cannot explain this, but the router reboots constantly if someone is accessing the WiFi from a room in which the WiFi singal is poor.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
I upgraded to "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/20/15) std - build 25974" and the router still reboots, in case of a low signal WiFi connection from an Android device.
Exactly the same issue on build 25697. My router restarts when Samsung Android phone is being used. It's kinda funny cause there's other (linux based) client of extremaly low signal (distance is high) and it's NOT causing a failure.
