Has anyone see this?

I'm running lots of Routerstations with the exact same setups (same firmware version, DNS server, etc)

But on one of them I get the following error when it tries to update DynDNS.

Wed Jun 9 16:47:54 2010: INADYN: Started 'INADYN Advanced version 1.96-ADV' - dynamic DNS updater.
Wed Jun 9 16:48:24 2010: INADYN:IP: Error '0x2' resolving host name 'checkip.dyndns.org'
Wed Jun 9 16:48:24 2010: W: DYNDNS: Error 'RC_IP_INVALID_REMOTE_ADDR' (0x12) when talking to IP server
Wed Jun 9 16:48:24 2010: W:'RC_IP_INVALID_REMOTE_ADDR' (0x12) updating the IPs. (it 0)
Wed Jun 9 16:59:06 2010: INADYN:IP: Error '0x2' resolving host name 'checkip.dyndns.org'
Wed Jun 9 16:59:06 2010: W: DYNDNS: Error 'RC_IP_INVALID_REMOTE_ADDR' (0x12) when talking to IP server
Wed Jun 9 16:59:06 2010: W:'RC_IP_INVALID_REMOTE_ADDR' (0x12) updating the IPs. (it 1)

It looks like a DNS error, but I can resolvecheckip.dyndns.org with no problem.

Any help appreciated!
Cinders.

I think I face the same issue;
Fri Oct 1 14:31:54 2010: INADYN: Started 'INADYN Advanced version 1.96-ADV' - dynamic DNS updater.
Fri Oct 1 14:31:54 2010: INADYN:IP: Error '0x2' resolving host name 'ip1.dynupdate.no-ip.com'
Fri Oct 1 14:31:54 2010: W: DYNDNS: Error 'RC_IP_INVALID_REMOTE_ADDR' (0x12) when talking to IP server
Fri Oct 1 14:31:54 2010: W:'RC_IP_INVALID_REMOTE_ADDR' (0x12) updating the IPs. (it 0)

This is linked to my config with no router ip address as the wan is disabled and wan port is bridged with the LAN and WLAN interfaces.

My build is: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (09/26/10) big

Anyone found how to resolve that?
I see the right ps cmd:
inadyn -u xdealmeida -p xxx --input_file /tmp/ddns/inadyn.conf

and inadyn.conf file:
--background --dyndns_system default@no-ip.com -a xabix.redirectme.net --update_period_sec 600 --forced_update_period 864000 --log_file /tmp/ddns/ddns.log --cache_dir /tmp/ddns --exec ddns_success

Thanks

The issue gets resolved if you add manually the name servers itno the resolve.conf file.

I'm having this issue for the same reason - my DD-WRT router is not facing the internet.

Could you tell me how to update the nameservers in the resolve.conf file and what the name servers should be?

Thanks!
