@Killmasta93 - thank you very much for taking the time to create this excellent tutorial! I should've done something like this a long time ago. This'll be a great resource for new users.

Anyone looking to download YAMon, go to http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=259806

(And I am going to add a link back to this topic on the download page!)

Hi I would like to thank the ddwrt community for making really awesome things for us the least thing I can do is make tutorials. I Have also made other tutorials with vlan tagging and virtual wifi detachments if anyone else is interested feel free to pm me or email me there also on advance networking section.

Thank you for putting together the document, even with it I am having a few challenges. The first is I am not getting a UUID number. I followed the first 6 instructions line by line.

The second is WINscp will not let me log in, for some reason it is not taking my password. I have put in some screen shots. I tried changing the password to something simple and that did not help and even tried leaving it blank.

BTW - the wireless password on the screenshot is temp, already changed.

Any ideas?

If memory serves me correctly, there are two spots in the DD-WRT GUI where you have to enable SSH... one under services and another under administration (I think)

BTW - the new YAMon3 installer script greatly simplifies the setup and configuration process for YAMon. You can get the installer at my site (http://usage-monitoring.com) or at the YAMon3 thread in this forum (http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=289324)

I added this thread to the tip/tricks under the YAMon link.

Keep up the good work.

Hey Mike - Can you also add a link to the YAMon3 install? Either http://usage-monitoring.com) or http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=289324.

Thx

I was able to get a UUID, the issue was i formated wrong before.

However, I cannot find a form box to enter the UUID.
Please take a look at the pic, does anyone know why mine does not look like the tutorial??
