Edit: turns out, this device is pretty much the same and has the same ID silkscreened on the PCB: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Aztech_WL559E

I have a Devolo WiFi Repeater, it's a small plug-pack sized "repeater" with Ethernet.
It has a reset button and a WPS button, and a few GPIO's doing some LED flashing.

Internals:

Ralink RT3352F SoC
DDR2 RAM: Zentel A3R12E40CBF (64 MByte / 512 Mbit)
SPI Flash: MX25L3205D (4 Mbyte / 32 Mbit)

Boot log (cut off just before the kernel boots, and a few U-Boot menu items):

Code:

U-Boot 1.1.3 (Apr  4 2012 - 11:52:28)

Board: Ralink APSoC DRAM:  64 MB

Header Payload scatter function is Disable !!

 ETH_STATE_ACTIVE!!

Please choose the operation:
1: Load system code to SDRAM via TFTP.
2: Load system code then write to Flash via TFTP.
3: Boot system code via Flash (default).
4: Entr boot command line interface.
   6: Entr Aconfig mode.
7: Load Boot Loader code then write to Flash

It doesn't have homeplug/powerline or anything like that (which is what Devolo usually has).

Few pictures attached of front and back of SoC board and one of the power supply to show how the 2nd button is connected (since it's not on the SoC board). Also has a nice serial port located on the side next to the LED board, works fine.

How hard would adding support for the board be?

This is a rebranded WL559E, and you can flash it with it's firmware too: http://www.aztech.com/support/index.php/networking-products/wireless-repeater/wl559e

Then you can use it as an AP or wireless client. Unlocks the full Web UI. So far no DD-WRT or OpenWRT Sad
