I've been following tutorials and youtube videos and just can't get this working.

I've got 2 Netgear WG602 loaded with Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) micro

I want to two netgears to run in client bridge mode. The primary router I've set to 192.168.1.100 and set a SSID to NG with channel ID of 1. To test I've disabled security.

On the backup router I've set it to 192.168.1.101 in client mode with SSID of NG. Also using no security. Then under status/wireless I've gone to site survey and joined NG.

Under wireless nodes I am do not see the remote router though.

The netgears are not connecting in bridge mode as I cannot ping the far router.

Any ideas what I'm missing. I've followed just about every thread I can find.

Update: Very odd - I redid everything from scratch again and now its working. Followed the same steps as before.
