Hello Everyone !
I am complete noob in DD-WRT and I would like to ask for your assistance. I want to set-up ssh tunnel from my PC to a router running DD-WRT but I don't know which router I should pick that can handle the load. Basically I want to use the router as proxy (I am considering setting up VPN as well but for now this is not my main concern). The traffic should be low - web pages etc and occasionally downloading files. The router I am thinking about is netgear n600 wndr3700 which fits in my limited budget. I am also considering used netgear R7000 but it costs more than what I am happy to spend...
Can anyone tell if wndr3700 would be powerful enough to do the job or I need something better ?
Thanks!
EDIT: By fast I mean CPU, RAM etc. not transfer speed.
Hey, I would like to remote access, but I don't know how to config the setting. I have tried many times, but it's not working. Can you please explain me how to can remote access from another place. Thank you
